Park your car safely
There are big, threatening clouds and your car is parked outside because you do not have a garage. Then it starts to hail heavily, and everyone hopes the car will survive this storm. However, you can watch the spectacle with peace of mind as your car is completely protected from hail damages by the hail protection cover.
Fully padded for optimal hail protection
The hail protection cover is completely upholstered with a 4 mm thick neoprene foam layer. This absorbs the impact of the hail very well, whereby the hood, the roof and the boot are well protected against hailstorm. In total the cover has a thickness of about 5 mm. The product is water-repellent and has a fleece on the inside that is gentle on the paintwork. There are four reflectors on the outside and the ultra-orange tapes add visibility. In addition, there are two ventilation openings to ensure good ventilation.
Easy installation
The cover is manufactured in five different sizes and is relatively easy to install with elastic seams. Attach the hail protection cover with the sewn-in arrow to the front on the bottom of the car with the attached snap fasteners. Mount the hail protection cover only on parked vehicles in non-public traffic areas and remove it immediately after the storm is over. Please note that condensation and moisture can form under the cover if it rains heavily for a long time and the air is very damp or the ground very wet. Condensation can also form under the cover when temperatures fluctuate strongly. This happens regardless of whether the cover is waterproof or not. It is therefore all the more important to regularly remove the protector cover from the car and ventilate and dry it.

Attach the cover to the underside of the car with the sewn-in arrow pointing forwards, using the snap fasteners and firmly pull the straps. - Why should the hail protection cover be removed after a thunderstorm?
If the cover remains on the vehicle for a prolonged period of time, moisture can form underneath, which can significantly reduce the lifetime of the cover. We recommend removing the cover after the thunderstorm has passed and drying it thoroughly before using it again.
Please note: Our hail protection covers are not UV-resistant. Direct UV radiation damages the cover and reduces the lifetime of the cover. Therefore, please remove it after use and do not leave it on the vehicle permanently!

Passt und sorgt für ruhigen Schlaf im Urlaub ...
Ich habe mir die Plane als Hagelschutz für die 2 wöchige Standdauer am Flughafen Parkplatz besorgt. Für meinen Passat Variant (BJ.2009) wird laut Internet Größe L empfohlen, laut Verpackung sollte es aber XL sein. Trotzdem hat die bestellte Größe L recht gut gepasst, man muss den Überstand vorne zu hinten etwas genauer aufteilen. Die Beschreibung (Auto / Lack muss sauber sein !) zur Montage ist sehr gut und auch die Plane lässt sich zu zweit wirklich sehr schnell und einfach montieren. Auch bei Wind wird sie durch die 2 gut angebrachten Gurte zuverlässig gesichert. Ein Klarsichtfenster für das Kennzeichen (zumindest hinten) wäre noch wünschenswert. Die mitgelieferte Aufbewahrungstasche ist wie von anderen Nutzern beschrieben viel zu klein, da geht die Plane niemals wieder rein. Ich habe mir eine passende Karton-Box besorgt, da kann man die Plane bis zum nächsten Urlaub gut aufgewahren.

Hilfreich aber gewöhnungsbedürftig
Die Lieferung und Online-Beratung wegen der richtigen Größe war optimal und die Rückmeldung kam schnell. Die Plane ist gut verarbeitet und bietet aktuell keinen Anlass für eine Reklamation, wurde jedoch nur einmal gebraucht. Die Handhabung aufgrund der Größe und das Zusammenlegen nach Gebrauch ist jedoch gewöhnungsbedürftig. Tipp an Fa. Walser: eine Anleitung zum Zusammenlegen nach Gebrauch, damit die Plane wieder in die mitgelieferte Tasche passt, wäre sehr hilfreich.
